Panel Doors in oak, pine, walnut and primed

Panel Doors are, in some form or another, the original construction of for both internal and external doors throughout history. This is really due to a practical solution to the construction of doors rather than style choice which came much later. Very early doors were constructed from the planks of timber directly from the cut tree, therefore the plank size would be determined by the with of the tree used. Planks were strapped together by horizontally or diagonally crossed struts of timber in order to keep the vertical planks in line so producing a panel of sorts.
