Fire Doorsfire doors

Gone are the days when fire certified doors were just practical, flush, ply-faced doors without style or character. We offer doors that compliment many of our standard door designs to comply to building regulations tested to BS 476 pt22. Check the Flame symbol on title pages for compatible designs. The main, visible difference these fire doors have is the increased thickness of 45mm for FD30 doors, 54mm for FD60 doors, though some may have a slight design change, often panelled styles, due to fire regulation constraints.

The designs and styles available range through traditional and contemporary tastes and include most timber types. The development of our fire doors is backed up by certification after testing. However, each situation requires an individual approach so please contact our sales staff to help in the decision making for your project.

We also supply the frames which are required to conform with regulations when fitting fire check doors. The set must include the fitting of intumescent fire seals and usually regulations also require a smoke seal. Please check on these details when ordering. Many of the internal fire doors we supply can also include glazed options which again comply with the rules governed by building compliance. In addition, hardware which compliments fire door specifications is also available.
