Prefinished Door Frames
We carry an extensive range of high quality veneer wrapped MDF Door Frames (also known as door linings) available, that go well with many of our pre-finished interior doors. A man made timber core is our preferred option for pre-finished frames and architraves to prevent any natural movement or defects that could otherwise occur. These durable frames are sold in length form and can be trimmed and fixed with the screws provided to suit a whole array of standard or un-standard door sizes. The pre-finished Oak frames are supplied with an ‘open grain’ type clear lacquer finish whereas the white foil finished frames have a dull white finish that can be left alone, or alternatively can be painted bright or gloss white. A coloured French polishers wax can be used to touch up any snags after fitting.
