Cottage Doors external
This selection of cottage doors offers designs which suit the traditional cottage very well. However, these doors are often the choice for other types of property such as barn conversions, new builds or any house which has historic type features, particularly in a rural setting. The timbers used in this collection are Hardwood, Oak or external quality Pine in order to offer a broad choice for customers requiring external cottage doors.

Within the selection there are the ever popular Framed, Ledged and Braced and Stable doors, the classic panelled styles and the increasingly fashionable planked doors. Within this selection the glazed styles offer choices of triple glazing and double glazed. For additional choice some styles are To Glaze which allows the customer flexibility if choosing glass to be fitted locally.
All stable doors are made as two separate halves and include an open inwards rebate along the two meeting edges, both can be bolted together when requiring the door to open as one leaf. These very flexible cottage doors will need two sets of hinges and locks in addition to bolts. This choice of door is ideal to allow ventilation via the top section while maintaining safety for pets and small children when the bottom section is locked shut.
